Club Tigres and Driblab sign a strategic collaboration agreement through which the club becomes the first Mexican team to adopt Arrigo, our advanced system that combines eventing and tracking data to provide a comprehensive view of individual and collective performance on the pitch.
Through this collaboration, and in addition to Arrigo, Tigres will also integrate Driblab XY and Physical Data, tools that will allow the club to integrate data analysis more deeply across all areas of its sporting methodology. This integration will enhance the work of the coaching staff and the analysis department, from match preparation to the evaluation of physical and collective performance.
Arrigo represents a qualitative leap in the use of data in football. Based on tracking information, this tool makes it possible to analyze the team’s collective structure, positioning and spatial occupation, as well as off-ball movements. In this way, it offers a deeper and more dynamic understanding of the game, going beyond conventional metrics based solely on possession or on-ball events.
Thanks to Arrigo, Tigres will be able to assess how tactical decisions influence both the team’s collective behavior and the player's decision-making, identify spatial patterns. This structural understanding of the game will allow the coaching staff to anticipate advantages, optimize player distribution on the pitch, and make evidence-based decisions, improving both individual and collective performance.
Meanwhile, Driblab’s Physical Data focuses on players’ physical performance: speed, acceleration, distance covered, training loads, and intensity of effort. With this tool, Tigres will be able to monitor players’ physical workload in greater detail, optimize preparation, and help prevent injuries within the demanding schedule of Mexican football.
“At Tigres, it is essential to have objective and in-depth information that allows us to accurately evaluate player performance throughout the scouting process. The incorporation of Arrigo, Driblab XY, and Physical Data strengthens our ability to integrate analysis into our methodology, which is key today for decision-making,” said Víctor Olguín, Head of Scouting & Analysis at Club Tigres.
“For us, this partnership represents a significant step in how we understand innovation in modern football,” stated Salvador Carmona, CEO of Driblab. “We are confident that through the integration of Arrigo and Physical Data, Tigres will not only raise its competitive level but also set a new benchmark in Mexico for the strategic use of data in football.”
