Club Lanús and Driblab reach an agreement to enhance performance analysis through data

Club Lanús and Driblab have reached an agreement whereby the club will engage Driblab as a provider of data analytics solutions for football. The agreement will enable the coaching staff, led by Mauricio Pellegrino, to incorporate new tools for performance analysis and decision-making, relying on advanced data and metrics developed specifically to better understand the game.

In our Physical and Arrigo data, Club Lanús has adopted Driblab's range of intelligent metrics to support the coaching staff led by Mauricio Pellegrino.

As part of the agreement, Club Lanús will have access to Driblab's Physical Data our solution focused on analysing and understanding the physical demands placed on players during matches, and to Arrigo, Driblab’s range of intelligent metrics, combining event and tracking data, designed to transform data into valuable insights into players’ behaviour and their contribution to the game.

Through these solutions, the coaching staff at Club Lanús will be able to complement their analysis with deeper insights into the players’ physical and footballing performance, incorporating advanced information into their working processes and decision-making.

Driblab has established itself as an international leader by offering a comprehensive suite of statistical and scouting tools that minimise the risk involved in decision-making for football clubs, national associations and player agencies around the world.

“Driblab gives us access to more sophisticated quantitative data and metrics, which require a slightly more advanced level of analysis and knowledge. With Driblab, we can complement our analysis of the team’s performance, that of our opponents and that of our players on an individual level,” said João Teixeira, video analyst on the Lanús coaching staff.

“We are delighted to begin working with Club Lanús. Being able to add value through our solutions to Mauricio Pellegrino’s coaching staff represents a great opportunity to continue demonstrating the value that advanced data can bring to analysis and decision-making processes. We are also proud to do so alongside a club with the history and international recognition of Club Atlético Lanús,” said Salvador Carmona, CEO of Driblab.
