We recently unveiled one of Driblab's most significant developments to date: our Dynamic Tracking. A tracking system that combines computer vision, spatial homography, and artificial intelligence, entirely produced, captured, and modeled in-house by Driblab. We don't rely on external providers for its production. Every stage of the process is developed internally, following a proprietary methodology that we have refined over time.
How we generate the data: multi-camera optical tracking
Our AI-powered optical tracking system follows the position of all 22 players and the ball every tenth of a second. From the video signal, a sequence of computer vision algorithms identifies the pitch lines to build a precise homography.
In this way, Driblab's optical tracking is capable of effectively and accurately distinguishing players by team, detecting each of them individually. This allows us to assign a persistent identity to every player that is maintained throughout the entire match, enabling us to measure what happens, when it happens, in what context, and who performs the action.
The result is a dynamic digital replica of the pitch with centimeter-level precision, on top of which we then build the full analytical layer that allows us to extract deep, high-value insights for our clients.
Proven quality: the new benchmark
The physical data we produce is of the highest quality available in the market. Its effectiveness and accuracy have been subjected to rigorous validation processes and successive improvements, and have also been benchmarked against leading industry references.
The precision margins achieved in critical parameters such as total distance covered, sprints at different speeds, accelerations and decelerations, top speed, and sustained intensity have been published with full transparency over recent months. These results position Driblab as the new benchmark for physical data, a standard increasingly demanded and requested by clubs' performance and methodology departments.
Global coverage, scalable to any league
Having our own proprietary technology also allows us to scale tracking to competitions that have historically fallen outside the radar of other providers. Wherever there is a single camera and a match recording, we can generate the complete dataset: from the top five European leagues to second divisions, youth football, women's football, or emerging markets.
This translates into a uniquely global coverage, with the real capability to deliver advanced metrics in leagues that, with other systems, simply cannot be analyzed.
Our tracking data coverage is, moreover, deeply transversal. We cover the world's major top-flight leagues, but also a wide range of second divisions and, in general, all those competitions that deliver real value from a scouting perspective.
We don't limit ourselves to the most high-profile leagues: wherever there is talent to be discovered, market opportunities, or players with growth potential, Driblab is there, providing physical and tracking data of the same quality and depth as in the major European leagues.
