Release Notes: Third Quarter 2025

Welcome to the latest Driblab release notes.

Over the past few months, we’ve focused on transforming valuable client feedback into meaningful improvements across the platform. This release introduces upgrades to benchmarking tools, scouting workflows, video analysis environments, reporting capabilities, and physical data visualization.

Whether you’re comparing team profiles, filtering loan players, exporting reports, or jumping from data to video in a single click, these updates are designed to make your workflow more efficient, contextual and actionable.

Let’s explore what’s new.

GENERAL DEVELOPMENTS

Global Performance Index (GPI) for All Users

The Global Performance Index (GPI) is now visible and accessible across all user profiles, allowing every user to quickly contextualize performance through a single aggregated metric. Among a extensive list on answered questions, Driblab's Global Player Index (GPI) offers an answer to a central question in modern football: how to compare players across different leagues and competitive contexts.

This change ensures greater transparency and consistency when comparing players across competitions and roles. Learn how out GPI works here.

Arrigo Training Videos in FAQ

To improve onboarding and day-to-day usage, Arrigo training videos are now integrated directly into the FAQ section. Users can access structured tutorials without leaving the platform, reducing learning curves and making advanced features easier to adopt.

WHAT'S NEW ON DRIBLAB XY?

Team Radar Comparisons

Team Radars can now be benchmarked against:

  • League averages
  • Specific teams

This enhancement provides clearer context when evaluating stylistic identity, strengths and weaknesses. Whether preparing opposition analysis or internal performance reviews, users can now visually contrast profiles in a much more direct way.

Enhanced PDF Team Reports

Team PDF reports now include:

  • Offensive radar
  • Defensive radar
  • Style radar
  • Most recent matches played

This update transforms exported reports into more complete analytical documents, ready to share with coaching staff or decision-makers.

Loan Player Filter in Player Scout

Within Player Scout, loaned players are now clearly identified. Users can also filter to display only loan players.

This addition improves scouting workflows, especially when tracking temporary transfers, market opportunities or monitoring development pathways.

WHAT'S NEW ON CAPTURE?

Video Highlights Redesign

The Video Highlights interface has been redesigned to create a cleaner, more compact experience.

This new version consolidates key tools in a more intuitive structure, reducing friction and improving navigation efficiency.

The objective: faster access to relevant clips with fewer clicks.

Video Redirect from Game Finishing Map

From the Game Finishing Map, users can now jump directly to the associated video by clicking on the event dot.

This creates a seamless connection between data and footage, significantly accelerating the validation process. Analysts can now move from shot location to video evidence instantly.

Playlists Page Improvements

The Playlists page has been redesigned to improve usability and clarity. The updated display makes managing and reviewing collections of clips more intuitive, particularly when working with larger datasets.

WHAT'S NEW ON PHYSICAL DATA?

Game Phases in Team Trends

Team Trend reports now include data segmented by game phases. This provides additional context when evaluating performance evolution across different tactical moments.

Rather than observing overall trends in isolation, users can now understand when and how performance shifts occur within specific phases of play.

Phases of Play Map

A new dedicated map allows users to visualize actions according to different phases of play.

Additionally, an average reference line has been incorporated into these charts, making it easier to detect deviations, patterns and long-term tendencies.

You can find them on the Map Tab in each Team page.

Spatial Coverage Map

We’ve introduced a new map layer focused on spatial occupation.

The Spatial Coverage Map visualizes how a team uses and occupies space on the pitch, offering deeper insight into structural behavior, territorial dominance and collective positioning dynamics.

You can find them on the Map Tab in each Team page.
