Release Notes — Second Quarter 2025

Welcome to the latest Driblab release notes!

Over the past few months, we’ve focused on turning valuable client feedback into meaningful improvements across the platform. This release includes major upgrades to scouting workflows, template management, video analysis, administration tools, and much more. Whether you’re managing scouting reports, uploading footage, or analyzing squad value, these updates are designed to make your work more efficient, customizable, and impactful.

Let’s explore what’s new.

DRIBLAB XY

Penalty Shootout Map at Game Level

A new goal map has been added in the Maps tab at the game level to visualize penalty shootouts, when available.

Team Trends

You can now see whether goals (for or against) come from specific situations like "Kick Off", providing more context to the analysis.

Updated Area Selection with Visual Map

The previous dropdown area selectors have been replaced by an interactive image with clickable areas, improving usability and visual context.

Templates Updates
Radar Templates Editor: Drag & Drop Stats

You can now drag and drop stats in the Radar Template Editor to change their order. No more re-adding stats manually to rearrange them—just drag to reorder.

Stats Templates: More Stats Now Available

Several stats that were already present in Radar Templates are now also available in Stats Templates, expanding customization options.

Templates: Stats Organized by Subcategories

Stats in both Stats Templates and Radar Templates are now grouped by subcategory, making it easier to find and select what you need.

User-Level Default Templates

Users can now set their own default templates. Previously, a shared template marked as default would apply to all users of the same client—now defaults are personalized.

Player Radar Improvements
  • Templates are now ordered alphabetically by radarName.
  • The template selector now uses position-based colors.
  • The radar color changes depending on the product:
    • Driblab XY → Blue
    • Physical Data → Green
    • Arrigo → Light Blue

PHYSICAL DATA

New Arrigo Metrics Added

The latest metrics have been added to enhance the depth of available analysis.

Arrigo Metrics Now Available in API

Arrigo data is now available across the platform, including the API, player stats, and team stats for each game—making it easier to access and use in client analyses.

Game Physical Stats: new tab for max acceleration

A dedicated tab has been added to the Game Physical Stats view for quick access to Max Acceleration data.

Game Physical Stats: Download Buttons

The bar chart graphs in Game Physical Stats can now be downloaded as PNG or SVG, making it easier to include visuals in reports or presentations.

Video Highlights: New Ball in Play Visualization

A new logic has been added to highlight moments when the ball is actually in play. Clips will now automatically cut before fouls, kicks, and restarts, offering cleaner and more relevant highlights.
