What is Driblab's mission?

Our mission is to bring innovation into the subjective beautiful game. We strive for teams, leagues, federations and other football professionals to have a more objective decision-making process in an industry that should always look for the better interest of its protagonists.

Why should I work with you and not other services? Is Driblab a software?

We are a consultancy with more than a dozen clients distributed among the most relevant national and international tournaments in the world. Our work is a service that supports the club on daily basis with a constant communication to make an optimal follow up of the needs of each client. Our professionals provide reports and advice to the professionals, always being the interlocutor between the clients and our system in order to get the most out of our products, minimize risk and optimize available resources.

In addition, our clients have access to driblabPRO, a technological solution to revolutionize scouting: beyond viewing a player’s performance, radar, positional ranking, maps of key passes and shots, as well as comparisons with other players, driblabPRO allows you to create customized searches, save them and share them.

What results endorse Driblab's work?

Taking as a reference last season (2018/19), our clients moved 867 million euros in transfers, Driblab took an active part in operations worth 568 million (65.5%). The players that were signed influenced by our company had an average increase of 29% of their market value according to Transfermakt. These results represent a key financial gain in addition to the sporting contribution.

What leagues and tournaments does Driblab cover?

One of the greatest strengths of our service is our extensive database covering all professional football: Driblab has data on more than 180,000 players from over 150 professional tournaments. In addition, we have over 40 junior competitions both nationally and internationally including U21, U19 and U17 categories. Thanks to the extensive coverage, we have a competitive advantage over the competition, with more opportunities to identify young talent and get ahead of the market.

What clubs do you work with? No conflict of interest between clients?

We work confidentially with our clients. We have a wide diversity, from teams in the Champions League, Europa League and Libertadores, to clients in second tiers like Segunda Division, Champioship and Bundesliga II. Our service is adapted to the particular needs of each client and their different understanding of football. Every club-Driblab relationship is different. There is a personalized work guaranteeing the confidentiality of the information in an explicit way in the agreement with our clients.

We are convinced that this is the most effective way to work and that our consultancy stands out for its ability to adapt, understanding that each club has different needs and characteristics. The only clients with whom our association was publicly announced, after agreement with the client, were Olympiacos (Greece), Chicago Fire (United States), Club America (Mexico) and Internacional Porto Alegre (Brazil).

What languages do you work in?

Our analyses, as well as the data visualizations, are provided in Spanish, English, German, Italian and French depending on the client’s preferences.

If we already have our own data or statistical analysis projects, how can we integrate Driblab? Do you do bespoke projects or visualizations?

Our services are adapted to the specificities of each club and its way of working. We know that each club can look for different characteristics in the analysis or have different points of view, that is why we also develop bespoke projects and visualizations according to the requests of each client. We look for a consonance between the way each club works and our services to optimize time and resources. We are a flexible consultancy to the needs of each client and we seek to ease the integration of our work into the existing structures within each club.

Are you a service only for the transfer market? How long does it take for Driblab to answer a request?

Our work is based on a model of fluid communication in which, in addition to helping in club emergencies, we also provide a proactive support. The consultancy service we offer is a constant tool for sports management on a daily basis. In this way, our work is not only focused on operations for the short term or on the transfer period, but it is a permanent planning that helps to anticipate the market. More than 90% of our responses are provided in less than an hour. This response time is one of our strongest loyalty mechanisms because our clients have told us that we speed up the negotiation process at decisive moments in order to close deals. In addition, it should be noted that during market closing days Driblab works with flexible time schedules adapted to meet the needs of our customers.

What other sports are you involved in?

Our company has a division dedicated to basketball: Madribble. Like Driblab, it is a consulting service focused on the statistical analysis of players and teams. We have a database of more than 30,000 players distributed in more than 80 competitions.

Where can I see references about Driblab? Have you been in the media?

We try to share all the features we have in the media on our Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn channels. In addition, in our blog we generate content with our analyses and collect pieces that we make for the media. For example, we currently have a strategic alliance with MARCA.

How do you work with agents and mediators?

Our service of talent detection, performance analysis and market assessment is applicable to clubs as well as representative agencies and intermediaries. Our products put a value on the potential of players by comparing them not only with themselves but also with the profiles of same contexts in the market. In addition, with our alert services you will discover the best talents in the junior categories or lower leagues before your competitors and extend your market options to cover more tournaments. One of our strengths is the ability to adapt to the specifications (countries, ages, positions, …) that interest each agency.

We are a company based in Madrid, Spain founded in 2017 by Salvador Carmona and Cristian Coré Ramiro. Since the beginning our work has been focused on statistical analysis to help clubs and sport professionals in sports planning.
