On November 24, our CEO, Salvador Carmona, will be present at the most important event in the world of football to discuss the importance of big data in the sports industry.

The fourth edition of the World Football Summit will take place from November 23rd to 27th virtually. In this event, and within the framework of the activities to be held on November 24, Driblab will be present.

Our CEO, Salvador Carmona, will be part of the panel: “Growing Importance of Data in Sports” where he will share the space with Ilhan Gundogan, KIN Partners; Victor Orta, sports director of Leeds United; and Juan Carlos Rodriguez, president of Univision Sports. Furthermore, the panel will be moderated by Miguel Angel Ramos, journalist of Agencia EFE.

In this new edition of one of the most massive events of the football industry, also will participate names of recognized professionals of the world of the sport like Enrique Bonilla, President of the Liga MX or Jacques-Hemri Eyraud, CEO of the Olympique Marseille.

From Driblab’s point of view, the organization of events of this caliber is key to promoting innovation in sport and for the ability to show the potential of big data applied to football. This event will allow us to explore how data can transform the work of professionals in the football industry in a transversal way from within the clubs to the media linked to the sport.

We are Driblab, a consultancy specialized in the statistical analysis of players and teams; our work is focused on advising and minimizing risk in professional football decision-making in areas related to talent detection and footballer evaluations.
