L.R. Vicenza and Driblab have signed a collaboration agreement to incorporate advanced statistics in the talent detection and performance analysis processes of the Italian club’s scouting and sporting management departments.
With this partnership, L.R. Vicenza will have access to more than 200,000 players and more than 180 competitions present in driblabPRO, the platform developed by Driblab where L.R. Vicenza can detect talent according to the needs of the club, as well as analyse the performance of players and teams in a completely flexible and automated way through multiple tools, alerts and functionalities.
Likewise, L.R. Vicenza will have at its disposal Driblab’s consultancy services to analyse in depth all the options on the market. Having the support of companies that collect and model data through technology and innovation to complement the analysis of scouts and sporting directors is an increasingly important decision in the competitiveness and development of clubs. There are many variables in football and having as much information as possible to make more objective decisions is fundamental in all sport management processes.
Federico Balzaretti, Sporting Director of L.R. Vicenza: “It’s a pleasure for us to work with Driblab and also to be the first italian team to join. Our club pays particular attention to digital technologies and data analytics to improve our decision-making process. We would like also to thank Driblab for their support and we are looking forward to establishing a fruitful cooperation”.
Salvador Carmona, CEO of Driblab, valued the agreement: “Having a presence in Italy, one of the most important football markets in the world, is a purpose for us. We are very grateful for the trust of L.R. Vicenza and we hope to be able to help them in everything they need to achieve their sporting goals”.
