PAOK FC and Driblab have reached a partnership agreement to integrate advanced statistics and big data into the scouting and talent detection processes around the world as well as the performance analysis of the Greek club’s scouting and sports management department, which will be able to access the extensive database of the Spanish company.
Likewise, PAOK FC will have access to driblabPRO, the scouting platform developed by Driblab with more than 200,000 players and more than 180 competitions, which together with the consultancy services will allow them to improve and refine all their scouting processes in leagues on all continents, thanks to the extensive and deep coverage of its database. Driblab will be honoured to collaborate with a club with almost a hundred years of history, three Greek Super League titles, eight Greek Cups and a particularly brilliant recent present.
Having the support of companies that use data to complement analysis is an increasingly decisive step for the growth and competitiveness of clubs. The global nature of football as an industry demands to be as prepared as possible to anticipate competitors, with big data enabling the scouting department to focus more decisively on more specific functions.
For Jose Boto, Sporting Director at PAOK FC, “It is an important tool for PAOK. We’re in the rebuilding process and together with Driblab we will be able to have the bigger picture of potential transfer targets and talents around the world. We are very happy for this new collaboration and we want to welcome Driblab to PAOK family.”.
For Salvador Carmona, CEO of Driblab, “it is fantastic news to have the confidence of a historic club like PAOK, one of the most important clubs in Greece and with a very competitive present. This agreement places Driblab in another important European league, demonstrating that our database and our consultancy continue to generate confidence in clubs with very different needs.”
