During the lasts weeks of summer we have developed new tools at driblabPRO that expand the resources we provide to our clients. Here are the details of the new releases:

Season Finishing Map for teams

We have included in driblabPRO the season xG map for teams. The user can decide from various seasons, shot types, areas or body parts.

Season Key Pass Map for teams

We have also added the team’s Season XA map. The Expected Assists metric measures the quality of a pass, and by studying the teams map, we give our users the opportunity to asses each team’s attacking system. Our clients can filter by the types of shots, the strategy or the minute on which the shot took place.

Goal view for finishing maps

Expected goals maps, traditionally, show where the shot was taken. With our new tool, we can see where the shot actually goes. This, for example, might show us that the vast majority of Mbappe’s goals in the last UCL and this year’s Ligue 1, were all skimming the ground.

Bar Chart

The latest tool we have added to our platform is the Bar Chart. It allows our users to see different stats: xT, xG, finishing, scoring contribution… in an innovative way. By seeing both total statistics and per 90 minutes, you can see who is really important for his team’s performance.

We are Driblab, a consultancy specialized in football analytics and big data; our work is focused on advising and minimizing risk in professional football decision-making in areas related to talent detection and footballer evaluations.
