Real Betis and Driblab renew their collaboration agreement

  • This alliance, which started in the 2017/18 season, will allow the sports department to continue using the tools and data provided by the consultancy

Real Betis Balompié is pleased to announce the renewal of its collaboration agreement with Driblab, a big data consultancy for football professionals, thus strengthening a strategic alliance that has proven to be of great value in the strengthening and performance of the Club’s sports management.

Since the beginning of this fruitful alliance, Real Betis has consolidated a notable transformation in its approach to scouting and data analysis, with Driblab being an indispensable partner, providing tailor-made solutions that have strengthened the Club’s ability to identify emerging talent, generate capital gains, and monitor the performance of its players.

Real Betis Balompié values the commitment and dedication of Driblab over all these years to adapt and customize its data to the specific needs of the Club, as well as its ability to offer solutions through its scouting consultancy, allowing the sports management to make more objective and strategic decisions.

This renewal agreement reflects the joint commitment of Real Betis Balompié and Driblab to innovation and the use of cutting-edge technology in the field of football. Founded in 2017, Driblab has experienced sustained growth, working with some of the best clubs in the world and developing innovative products and services capable of addressing many of the challenges they face on a daily basis.

Manu Fajardo, professional football sports director of Real Betis, emphasized the importance for the entity to provide professionals with the necessary tools and technology to enhance scouting work, go to the market with the highest possible guarantees, and “minimize the margin of error in decision-making.”

“It is a further step within the methodology that we want to implement in the sports management of Real Betis with a data provider that allows us to minimize the margin of error that we can always have in decision-making. We are a sports management that attaches great importance to the subjective information provided by our scouts, but football also evolves with the contribution of these tools and data, which, as mentioned before, minimizes the margin of error, detects talent, and measures aspects such as the physical aspect, which is so important nowadays. We are very happy to continue to be linked to Driblab,” he pointed out.

Salvador Carmona, CEO of Driblab, expressed his satisfaction with the renewal of the agreement, stating: “For Driblab, it is an honor to continue our collaboration with Real Betis Balompié. This renewed agreement confirms the positive impact we have achieved in our relationship with the Club’s sports management and reaffirms our shared commitment to innovation and improvement in talent search.”

For his part, Antonio Durán, scout and analyst at Driblab, added: “We are very proud to continue working closely with Real Betis. We want to continue supporting their football vision with data and help provide them with all possible information in transfer markets and performance analysis.
